I have some difficulties with my kde 4.8.3 (ubuntu 12.04 packages). Nepumuk (virtuoso-t) often uses a lot of CPU, akonadi fails to fullfill kmails requests and after a day of work kde usually starts to be unstable (plasma-desktop misbehaves). I have not been able to track the problems down but I uasally get the error message "QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave." if I start kde programs on the commandline. Though these will usually not have trouble imidiately I wonder whether the message is related to my difficulties. On the internet I find many reports including this error but no solution.
Thanks in advance! |

I guess it is this:

Haven't read the whole bug report but for me turning the computer including the power supply off and waiting half a minute before turning it back on again worked

I will also add that the message "QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave" is completely innocuous and can be safely ignored. It is purely a warning message from Qt.

Can this warning be suppressed? |

Unfortunately it can only be suppressed by fixing the actual coding issue which is triggering it inside kdelibs itself. It will only occur for KUniqueApplication's from what I can tell.
I believe attempts may have been made by KDE developers to fix it, but the problem is fairly complicated and difficult to fix.

Hey guys .. is this error addressed ?
I'm using IntelliJ and command line svn and I get this error whenever I try to commit. I tried everything google would find and no luck ... and since I read here that the problem is KDE code I was hoping for any info ... regards Armando |
