Prelink is removed. I installed it and it made things worse.

Update: found a temporary way to start crashing apps like system settings, but i would like a more permanent solution.

Anyone experience this problem before? Maybe have the solution?

Yea. Thats what I thought. I was thinking that maybe it was a graphics issue, because this happens whenever I open something graphics related in system settings. I think it might also be related i the Knotify crash whenever system sounds are played.

I suspect that the current Phonon backend has a plugin which uses OpenGL for providing optimised video playback. When it tries to load this plugin, the crash occurs.
