Hi Folks,

Does any one know of how to set up the default browser in KDE 3 using command line ? I open kcontrol > KDE components > Component Chooser to do it through GUI.I was wondering if there is a command line way of doing it ,may be through KDE DCOP e.t.c ?

.kde3.5/share/config/kdeglobals

I guess this kind of fixes my problem,after setting up the BrowserApplication[$e] variable.

Is there any way ican do this through DCOP?

Have you looked into "kwriteconfig" (not sure if it exists under KDE 3, it does under KDE 4 however)?
