I have recently switched from kubuntu to fedora (KDE, always!), and I have managed to get almost everything as it was before.
The only thing I really can't find out is how to enable that wonderful feature introduced in kde 4.7, which allowed to choose what boot entry to select for the next boot before shutting down the system, using a menu which appears when you keep the mouse on the reboot button in the exit window. I've followed all instructions found in http://ksmanis.wordpress.com/2012/01/29/grub2burg-integration-in-kde/, but nevertheless, the reboot button has no menu associated, and I can only press the reboot button without being able to chose the next booted entry. Could anyone help me? TIA I'm using Fedora 17 spin KDE and KDE 4.8.4 |

There is currently a patch circulating on Reviewboard which I believe may involve this functionality.
