I'm using KDE 4.9, nvidia blob 304.37.
When my computer wakes up from suspend, xorg is using 100%+ cpu for about 5 minutes (sometimes more) before it calms down to normal levels. Then I tried logging in with razor-qt + kwin. I suspended, then resumed, and xorg was fine. So something in KDE is grinding the x server. How to proceed? |

I would suggest quitting individual KDE applications until you can no longer reproduce this issue.
Do any KDE applications show up as using the CPU highly at the same time? My top suspects would be kglobalaccel and plasma-desktop.

Yeah, it seems to work by killing kglobalaccel. I guess I'll need to make a pm-utils hook that kills it when suspending. But for the same issue when I switch between x servers, guess I will have to manually keep killing it. |

This shouldn't happen - can you please file a bug report regarding this?
