Hi

I manage a network of 100 workstations for all my users (about 200).
Before I had KDE 3 which was easy to customize (menu, icons in the menu bar, etc).

Now with KDE 4, I would like to do the same environment globally for all my users (I don't want each user to do his own customization). Where are the files in the system to do that? what can I change and do?

Some pointer please, I am completely lost since I tried to change some files on my test machine, but it doesn't seem to change anything.

Desktop Scripting (http://techbase.kde.org/KDE_System_Admi ... pScripting) looks like what you need, since you can drop .js files with templates in the system directories and they'll automatically get applied for users at first login.

Also this other link may be useful for you.
