If I enter pm-suspend as root, my computer goes to sleeps and resumes fine. But if I select sleep from the kicker menu, my computer goes to sleep but when resuming it gets stuck, computer freezes (no network response), monitor never initializes.
This just started happening a few days ago, not sure why. I first thought an update must of affected a module, but when I tried sleeping as root through console it worked fine. Then I was thinking a permissions issue, but it goes to sleep just fine. |

It looks like an issue lower in the stack to me, likely some permission problem.

You may want to ask in the Arch Linux forums first, as it looks like a distribution issue to me.
