Hi guys,
since a while (maybe last upgrade, but i'm not sure because i don't reboot often) i get a kdialog when i login into my kde session saying that i have no emails. i guess it's talking about system mails. how can i disable it?

Can you please provide a screenshot of this dialog?

Thanks for reply.
i actually can't take a snapshot (even if i press "stamp" key) i have nothing in the clipboard. i took a picture with my phone. it's basically a small dialog in the middle of a black screen. (picture is of the dialog only, screen is much bigger). this happens before the kde splash screen, right after i press "login" on kdm. possibly this is not a kde problem, but seems to me it's appeared after kde 4.9.2 upgrade http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/252/img20121025104007.jpg/ |

That is definitely a KDE dialog, but I don't know what is causing that - nothing that is part of KDE should be that is for sure.
Does it occur under a new user?

Seems a pam-related arch linux only "bug"

If this issue is likely to affect other Arch users, would you mind giving a link to the Arch bug report / wiki entry on this?
