Hi,
I just updated to Kubuntu 12.10, and initially I was very happy with the graphics tablet system settings panel, that is included in KDE 4.9. Now I have an issue using my tablet with a rotated screen: in the system settings panel the screen resolution is correctly displayed as 1200x1920, it also shows the correctly rotated shape of the screen, but in absolute mode my pen behaves as if the screen was not rotated: I can not reach the lowest 720 pixels of my rotated screen and the left edge of my screen does not coincide with the left edge of my tablet, in a ratio that correpsonds to 1200/1920. Am I missing something ? does this ring any bells ? rotating the tablet doesn't improve the situation, I did select 'map to screen' and 'full tablet'. I don't really remember, but it could be that the difference with 12.04 is actually not in the system settings panel for the tablet, but in the settings to rotate my screen: I seem to remember that I used to rotate my screen in the nvidia X server settings, now it is in the system settings 'size and orientation' and it does not seem possible anymore in the xserver settings. Could that be it ? any suggestions ? |

ok,
solved it while fixing something else: i wanted to have my lightdm login greeter in portrait mode, found the second answer in this post: http://askubuntu.com/questions/63681/ho ... -permanent made a script that rotates my screen with xrandr, and somehow that also solves this problem. strange ? |
