Hi all,
I've found out this feature by accident because I've never bothered to setup a screensaver before... So I think I would like the idea of having a phone like screen saver with widgets and all. However, I'm having the following issues. One, when I add widgets to the screensaver screen the widgets cannot be resized. I get no side buttons when I hover my mouse over the widgets. How do I resize those widgets? And also my second issue, I can only add widgets that came with my default install. I can't add the cwp weather widget for example that I've added to my user session, nor any other widgets that I've added later to my system. I can add them to my panels and user desktop but not to the screen saver screen. They just don't show up there. Is that the normal behaviour? Is there anything I can do? thank you, |

these might be limitations of the screen saver widget implementation as I experience the same
you should be able to resize the widgets by editing ~/.kde[4]/share/config/plasma-overlay-appletsrc, you might also be able to manually add the widgets not being listed (maybe not) you should search bugs.kde.org and vote https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=279668 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=298774 |
