No Google Search w/Krunner

Fri Jan 25, 2013 12:01 am
When I do a Google search with Krunner I get an error dialog box that says: Cinstall error <3> Encountered a fatal error, cannot continue. Error message: Unable to load a needed module: Couldn't lookup the requested module alias. I get the same error if I type in a URL in Krunner too. How can I fix this?

It looks you're missing some parts in krunner. To help diagnose the problem:

- open a terminal
- type "kquitapp krunner" to close down krunner
- restart krunner from the terminal
- try a search
- see if additional information is printed to the terminal

I had another problem with my login later on and my password was refused over and over again so after restarting my computer the krunner problem has sorted itself out. Weirdness. Ok, well thank you for your suggestions.
