No independent desktop and dashboard widgets in 4.10?

Tue Feb 05, 2013 8:59 pm I recall that the dashboard and desktop widgets were independent of each other. This appears NOT to be the case in 4.10 RC3 (Kubuntu 12.10). I hope this is a bug rather than a "feature". Is it possible to have independent sets of widgets?

Fri Feb 08, 2013 7:34 am Please make sure the independence setting is specified in System Settings > Workspace Behaviour > Workspace. Dashboard should be set to "Show an Independent Widget Set". Fri Feb 08, 2013 2:09 pm I've tried both, and independent widget set and not, and the problem is there. The widgets on the widget dashboard are NOT independent of the desktop. Perhaps I need to restart or relogin? I'll try a few obvious things and see if I can't get them to be separate.
