Depending on the distribution, it may be ~/.kde/ instead of ~/.kde4 - I suggest trying that instead.

Can you please paste the output of this command as well please?
Code: Select all
grep -ir Type= ~/.config/autostart

You are right. It is kde not kde4.

Code: Select all
master@master:~$ cd  ~/.kde/Autostart
master@master:~/.kde/Autostart$ ls
HuaweiAutoStart.desktop
master@master:~/.kde/Autostart$

This is the result:

Code: Select all
master@master:~/.kde/Autostart$ grep -ir Type= ~/.config/autostart
/home/master/.config/autostart/print-applet.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/Screenlets Daemon.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/zeitgeist-datahub.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/bluetooth-applet.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/ksuperkey.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/onboard-autostart.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/vino-server.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/jockey-gtk.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/telepathy-indicator.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/tracker-miner-fs.desktop:Type=Application
/home/master/.config/autostart/orca-autostart.desktop:Type=Application

They are all fine from what I can tell...
What is the content of HuaweiAutoStart.desktop?

That file is the source of the issue.
Delete the line "Type=none" from the file, and re-run "kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental" and the issue should be solved.

I am sorry admin, but those didn't solve my problem yet. This new error dialog has appeared:

Image
Message: The desktop entry file /home/master/.kde/Autostart/HuaweiAutoStart.desktop has no Type=... entry.

Now I remember :) This huawei.desktop that I have deleted before. Now this file comes again I don't know from where. Yes I admit I have ever installer Huawei Media Partner but I've uninstalled it. But I don't know if some services still left behind :)

Is there any other idea? Thank you admin, for your kind support... :)

You can either delete the file, or add "Type=Application" to the file.
I would suggest removing it however, and filing a bug report with Huawei - their software is creating files which do not conform to the appropriate specifications.

Alhamdulillah, my problem is solved!

Thanks, Admin. I say unto you all who has same problem like me, to do:

add "Type=Application" into the appropriate .desktop file

Now the dialog box doesnt appear anymore. Please lock this thread. Thank you so much all and specially admin :D
