I wonder if anybody else has the same problem !?
I recently upgraded from Kde 4.9.5 to Kde 4.10 (on Kubuntu 12.04.1). I used to be a happy user with a working trio of Kmail2/Akonadi/Kwallet. With the upgrade to Kde 4.10 the kwallet integration seems to be broken, which results in the following problem: If I start my PC and kwallet is enabled, the desktop environment is never fully loaded (it takes ages for the desktop to show, but then with no sound, shutdown or logoff options are never shown when clicked - I need to use the shell to power off my machine). If I disable kwallet and restart the PC, all the symptoms are gone. But then I need to enter my passwords for my various accounts and akonadi_googleresource is not working at all. I tried to set an empty password for kwallet, but that had -no- effect (and it certainly contradicts the basic idea of kwallet). Any ideas/suggestions to fix this problem are highly welcome. Thanks Peter

Can you check the cpu usage of the "kded4" process?

It seems that I am a victim of the following bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166376
The same strange symptoms and it seems that the culprit is "kmixd". Comment #28 of the above bug report recommends to disable said kmixd, but my joy lasted only a couple of hours. The system is basically still broken, because plasma is -not- fully loaded upon startup at random. I have looked through .xsession-errors, but could not find a hint on what's causing this. Other bug reports suggest to remove pulseaudio, done that but it did not have any visible effect, so I reinstalled it. Any suggestions as how-to debug such a situation are highly appreciated. Thanks Peter
