In openSUSE I saw a Recent Installed menu item in K Menu which is very helpful for finding apps, but in my version of Kubuntu (KDE 4.10.1), I do not see it. Can someone tell me which entries I should enter into K menu to make it appear again?
Thank you. |

I am using application launcher style. I entered Application Launcher settings but there is no option to enable this.
There are only: Switch tabs on hover Show applications by name items available. |

But the question was not how to add a new menu item, the question was about the "Recently Installed" submenu, that shows newly installed applications for 3 days. You cannot add something like that via the menu editor. This was an openSUSE specific feature, but it got added to KDE itself in version 4.11. You can enable/disable it in the application launcher's settings. Right-click on the icon to reach them. |
