Hi All,
I update my kde to 4.10.1. All works fine except the tasks manager. All my inactive windows are grey !!!! I thinks this should be a new feature, even if I'm not against the news, I would keep all my icons with the original colours. I work hard to find the windows that I want to use inside a great grey wall ![]() Maybe a options should ask the user to active this new feature.

Can you please provide a screenshot of this effect, both with windows raised and minimized?
I certainly have not seen this.

![]() controlled (at least partially) in systemsettings -> application appearance -> icons -> advanced -> disabled -> set affect -> all icons -> no effect & unclick semi-transparent note: the text is still a bit dimmed, there may be a setting somewhere else for this note: you can try panel icons, instead of all icons but for one user only all worked |

Hi,
This is my desktop https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7n9BO8SveEoNlh6d19pb2Y3X2s/edit?usp=sharing When I press the "show desktop" icons, all my icons become grey. When I maximaze the window, the icon re-aquires the original color. As a test, I substituted the plasma_applet_tasks.so and plasma_engine_tasks.so with version 4.9 an now, all icons have their correct colors |

you link to a 50.7mb pdf - surely this is a mistake
mix and matching .so's from different versions is going to cause you issues at some point, I would strongly advise you didn't |

These libraries don't guarantee binary compatibility, so you will run into issues.
