Hi, I have openSUSE 12.3 installed and version 4.x (not sure how to tell?) of KDE.

I have an application I need to run, which I normally do this:

1. Open a shell dialog
2. type su then provide password
3. cd /usr/StorMan
4. execute command sh StorMan.sh

It works fine, the Adaptec storage manager GUI launches. I tried to add this to the application menu by right-click then add item. I put working directory /usr/StorMan/ then I said to run as root. The command to execute I said was sh StorMan.sh

Doesn't work. I get the dialog that says I need to provide the password for root, which I input -- then the cursor turns into a little gear and bounces around for 30-40 seconds...then nothing...

How do I get this to work?
