I have the fonts all set at 8, but the fonts on the desktop (all the widgets, so the menu, folder view, tool tips, etc) are all way to small. I am guessing they are about half the size that they should be. I tried resizing the fonts in the kde system settings, and changing the "general" font size affects it, but it also makes other fonts larger as well (not the same size and too large).
I played around with the "force dpi 96" feature, but it did not seem to affect anything. I also checked my wifes profile, and the same thing is happening. This is on a new install of fedora 19. When I installed it, I updated the system which installed a new kernel (no idea if it matters, just laying facts). I also transferred our backed up home directories to the new install. fedora 19 64 bit kde 4.10.5 kernel 3.10.7 I have a screenshot, but I don't see any way to post this =/ Anyway, thanks for any help.

Err, okay. After two (yeah, two) restarts it seems to have corrected itself. I guess I will call it solved and not worry about it...
