A screen brightness controller is available if you click on the battery applet. Otherwise, if routed through Powerdevil, a popup (similar to the volume one used by KMix) should be shown when the screen brightness is changed.

I am having difficult regarding this screen brightness bar.

Just last month i installed fresh copu of Kubununt 14.04. The brightness increase and decrease was working fine with default hotkeys on my lenovo Z500.
Just couple of days ago, the brightness doesn't change as per before (in same steps) and bar doesn't appear as it does with volume change.

Please help.

Thanks.
