Hi,

Is it possible to bind 'Close' to middle mouse button, so it will close the program when clicked on it on a taskbar? Instead of clicking with right mouse button and selecting 'Close'...

try right click title bar -> more actions -> window manager settings -> actions -> title & frame -> middle button -> close

I don't believe you can, there is a smooth tasks widget that allows this but only displays the icon of the app not the name unless hovering

you can't upload images, the forum dose not host them, you use the img tag to point to the image address, for example

You can configure Smooth Tasks to keep the tasks expanded. However, you need to patch the widget in order to get it to work in never KDE Plasma Workspaces versions.

there's actually a "smooth tasks" and a "smooth tasks 2", and at least in openSUSE both are available in the Extra repos though only one can be installed at a time. The original (non 2) version allows for task name expansion but is not compatable with KDE 4.8 and later so the one openSUSE has is probably a fork known as the "flupp smooth tasks fork" https://bitbucket.org/flupp/smooth-tasks-fork

Hi, yes there is a solution for that problem. I'd had the same problem and I could solve it. Here is the solution:

You have to make a right click on the panel on the place where the apps are showing->"Gestor de tareas Settings"(sorry i've changed my language configuration but the system couldn't translate that)->"On middle Click"->"Close Window or Group"

Hope You can solve it.

Not exactly, I would have to click on the window using left mouse button to select it first and then use keyboard to close the window... Much more work if there is a lot of windows to close.
