Search and launch activity doesn't remember favorite apps.

I have installed kdebase on my archlinux and I keep Search and Launch as my default activity. However, when I reboot, Search and Launch doesn't remember my favorite apps (As it is apparent by these images) Am I missing any package? Have I screwed something up? Or is it a bug?
