Better KDE performance

Hellow !

Please help me.
Now days I switch my desktop environment from Unity to KDE.
In my past I used Ubuntu, now I use Kubuntu.

The question.

How can i speed up kde, make better kde performance and make a better game performance ( higher FPS)?

Than u yours ansvers.

Go into system settings and disable some of the effects, that will speed it up.

if you game in full screen disable desktop effects when in full screen
systemsettings -> desktop effects -> advanced -> suspend desktop effects .........

I think modern kwin should automatically turn off compositing when you have fullscreen games, no? If not, try Ctrl+Alft+F12 to suspend compositing.

All other measures to improve game performance are more or less voodoo if you ask me.
