Hi everybody,

Is it possible to arrange the KDE menu on alphabetical order instead of functional order? As it is now, I'm using Mint 15 KDE, my menu is arranged on functional order instead of ordered on program name. As example, I'm using Google Chrome as webbrowser. In the KDE menu this is arranged on it's function: webbrowser. But I want to have it ordered on it's program name Chrome (or Google Chrome).

How do I get all the menu entries arranged on alphabetical name instead of functional name?
Many thanks!

Laborious way:
If you run kmenuedit you can drag and drop the menu entries to order them as you like.
Easy way:
I'd like to know that myself.

Right-click on the kmenu icon, and choose "K-Menu Settings".
Enable "Show Applications by name".

That only sorts by application name within the categories the entry is placed.
I read the post as the OP wanting to remove the 'categorization'.

Pause for thought :-\
Having just re-read it, I believe I interpreted the question incorrectly - just ignore me. :D
