Hi,
Still new to KDE, and to Linux in general for that matter. I'm just discovering krunner, and I can see how it has the potential to be awesome... it's almost awesome, but it only just off. Here is my problem. There are certain things I use all the time, which krunner can help with. For example, if I want to search google maps for an address, in Krunner, I can just type googlemaps:<address>. The thing is, this is not that much faster than going to google maps and typing the address (it is a bit faster). I would prefer to just be able to type "m <address>". This is just one of many examples, YouTube searches is another. So my first question is this... is there a way to change the prefix. I don't just want to change the text, I also want to change the need for the ":". Can i do this? My next question is about adding other generic online searches. For example, I'd love to be able to enter "i <search term>" and have it search google images. To do this, it's a simple URL = https://www.google.com/search?site=imgh ... bih=917&q=<search term>. So is there a way to add this? Thanks in advance for your help. |

Never mind, I found the answer, and now krunner is awesome!!!
For those that see the thread and want to know, simply go into System Settings | Account Details | Web Shortcuts, and configure from there. Beautiful. Got to love KDE!!! |

I've now marked the topic as solved to make it easier to find for others in the future.
