Just updated my KDE 13.04 (which had kwin-style-dekorator installed, to 13.10 (which seems to have decided to get rid of it for some reason. Now up to & including 13.04, if I wanted to install deKorator, I just went into synaptic & clicked on it and it would install without demanding to remove anything. Now under 13.10 I clicked on it & chose Install, and I get a list of things deKorator wants to remove:
Am wondering why suddenly deKorator has to remove both kde-full & kde-standard? Wouldn't this make KDE stop working? Or am I just being paranoid? Last thing I want to do is install deKorator & lose KDE. ![]() This always happens when I update & choose to delete what KDE claims are obsolete programs at the end of updating instead of using the keep option, something I like always disappears. ![]()

That's the one I tried. Stupid me, always called it just dekorator, so forgot to add the kwin-style- in front. Sorry about that. . ![]() Theres one thing though, I'm not the only one, so guess it's wait & see. Thanks for the answer!!! ![]() |
