Hi there. This is my first post here so please bear with me. I search on the forum but I couldn't find any similar post. I suspect that this behaviour is either a bug or it has something to do with the implementation of KDE in Mageia. Either way I need help to report it properly.
Those two users are my wife and me. Here goes for only one simultaneously logged in user:
Two simultaneously logged in users:
Symptoms: All windows from saved session are unavailable. They don't open on a click in a tray but they are shown as open. They don't show themselves in Alt-Tab either. It is possible to open new instances of programs but saved session is very useful in my work flow so this situation is extremely annoying. In the past that worked as expected. I seems to me that this use case is the most basic use case for more simultaneously logged in users in KDE. I think that saved session should be opened fully or not at all. I tried with fresh install and the symptoms are the same. Any idea how to deal with this situation? Or did I completely misunderstood the issue? ![]() Thanks in advance. |

Do you have compositing enabled, and does everything else appear correctly? It may not be possible for you to have two sessions running simultaneously with compositing depending on the capabilities of the graphics driver / card.

Thanks bcooksley. While this doesn't helps in 4.10.5 it does in 4.11.4. So I'll just wait about a month for a next release of Mageia. |
