I recently upgraded to Fedora 19 64 bit and I have lost some functionality. I usually have 8 workspaces defined so I don't overlap windows within one workspace. I was able to open an application in one workspace and, if I wanted it in a different one, I could drag its entry on the task bar to the place in the taskbar where the entries for the workspaces are and drop it on the spot for the workspace where I wanted it. I can't do that any more. I now have to right click its entry, select ' Move to Desktop', and then click which workspace I wanted it in. I believe I am running KDE version 4.11.3-1.
Thanks, Vince Radice |

Sounds like https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322567, but this should be fixed since 4.11.1. And it works fine here with KDE 4.11.4. Are you sure you have 4.11.3? Choose "About KDE" in any KDE application's "Help" menu to verify. |

Yes, I confirmed I have 4.11.3. I checked and I updated to 4.11.4. Need to reboot. I will respond then.

Rebooted and tried. It works again. Interesting note is the size of the icon when moving between workspaces. It is so large, it kind of blocks the panel image of the workspace representaion. I can live with that as long at it works.
