I would like to have a global keyboard shortcut set up for homerun, but I do not want to have a widget on my desktop for it. I also do not have any panels, so I cannot put a homerun button in my panel and set up the keyboard shortcut from there. Homerun doesn't seem to have an entry in System Settings > Global Keyboard Shortcuts.
Any ideas on how I might do this? Thanks. |

"kcmshell4 hotkeys"
bind a shortcut to dbus org.kde.homerun /HomerunViewer org.kde.homerunViewer.toggle 1 0 false 0 false weird that there's no kglobalaccel, though. |

Don't have to.
Run
That will spawn a dialog. Press "Edit/New/Global Shortcut/D-Bus Command" (button in the lower left edge) In the "Trigger" page, select a shortcut. In the "Action" page, insert org.kde.homerun /HomerunViewer org.kde.homerunViewer.toggle 1 0 false 0 false Notice that this is for the standalong "homerunviewer" process, not sure if you've added it as plasmoid. |

launch "homerunviewer" (eg. as autostart, "kcmshell4 autostart", "add program")
The plasmoid would do that when clicking it. Otherwise the hotkey config looks correct. |
