Hello,
I am using Linux mint 16 with KDE and i've had a few bugs, one of them i was able to solve which was font used to look really odd in quite a few programs and was fixed by disabling font hinting. However, that did not solve an issue, in a few programs ( the same ones that font used to look odd) whenever i use select all, it doesn't actually select all text although i am able to copy all of it, but not edit when all is selected. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks ! |

Which applications are you experiencing this problem with, and in which particular parts of them?

Applications i have this issue usually is Google Chrome or Chromium ( both i get the same issue) address bar and Xchat chat bar, there are others that this happens as well but since i do not use them much i am not too sure right now.
Thanks for the help! |

I'm afraid both XChat and Chromium / Google Chrome are non-KDE applications - so their select all functions would experience very little / no influence from KDE. I'd suggest reporting the problem to their respective developers instead as they'll likely know more about potential causes.

I found a fix for this even though it is not KDE, but for anyone who gets this issue, it seems to be font related, i changed my font to Arial (MS version) on GTK and its fixed!
