I am on Kubuntu 14.04 (KDE 4.13) on a laptop and when I connect my second monitor I've set it up so my second monitor is my main display. This makes my only panel appear on my second monitor.
This is exactly what I want, but when I click on "Volume" (Kmix) in the "System Tray Settings" plasmoid, it appears on my laptop monitor instead of my second monitor. This is particularly odd because everything else in the system tray is displayed correctly (network, klipper, bluetooth, battery, etc. all appear on my second monitor, only sound appears on the first). Any idea what to do? I've restarted plasma-desktop and tried adding a new panel. In both cases it kept appearing in my second monitor. Many thanks! PS: On a separate and unrelated note, I had other questions about kmix: 1. How do you get the media control keys? I have them on Veromix but I don't get them on kmix. 2. Is it possible to drag-and-drop streams between channels? I can right-click, but I was just wondering about drag-and-drop. |

If you restart KMix after changing the primary monitor, does it appear on the correct screen?

killall kmix && kmix doesn't fix it. kquitapp kmix && kmix also doesn't do it.

Okay, this is probably a bug in KMix, and it's volume popup. Please file a bug at bugs.kde.org concerning this so it can be corrected.
Unfortunately this likely cannot be fixed at this stage...

It seems this is a known bug. I will see what comes of it.
