I know we have the settings manager, but is the settings:/ kio-slave still supposed to work? When I try it on Kubuntu intrepid (upgraded from KDE3 Hardy), it's not working.

I get this error:

The requested operation could not be completed
Details of the Request:
URL: settings:/
Protocol: settings

Additional Information: Unknown settings folder
Description:

No, it is not, it is actually been completely rewritten for KDE 4.2, so as to work the proper way. The applications:/ kio slave was rewritten at the same time.
