Hello fellow users, first post here so please bear with me.
I'm having a problem with plasma desktop flickering after resuming from suspend. Every time I resume I see some flickering noticeable by some stripes showing in the panel and general desktop jittering and slow response. I've seen this with effects on or off, though they are usually off. Killing plasma-desktop and relaunching it fixes the problem but only for a few seconds. I've tried taking a screenshot of the flickering and stripes but to no avail, for some reason this doesn't show in the images. Here's an example of what it looks like: ![]() So far the only way I've found to make it stop is to reboot or to logout/login. I'm using Kubuntu 14.10 with KDE 4.14.2, kernel is 3.16.0 Note: Have seen this in Fedora 21 KDE 4.14.4, have not seen it with Fedora 21 XFCE or Xubuntu 14.10 Any help will be deeply appreciated |

if you run the qdbus command again with compositing on the driver used should be listed in the [compositing] section, it may be useful for someone when they try and assist

Whatever "glxinfo" and /var/log/Xorg.0.log tell you. I bet on radeon and color tiling and/or glamor, but that's just a wild shot for the moment. (Could just as well be EXAPixmaps ![]() |

So this is what compositing throws:
Glxinfo also says something about Gallium 0.4 being used. |
