This is on Kubuntu 15.04, everything was working fine before upgrade. I can still access the camera from Dolphin by typing camera: or by using Digikam.
lsusb output:
solid-hardware listen output:
solid-hardware details output:
Is there supposed to be a udev rule for this? How does the notifier learn about new hardware? |

I have exactly the same problem with Nikon Coolpix P50. Also Kubuntu 15.04
dmesg | tail after connecting the camera:
lsusb
solid-hardware listen
solid-hardware details

Have you found a solution for this?
I have same kind of problem with Canon Ixus 230 HS. Dolphin does not show camera on the device list but I can access it with "camera:/" dmesg
solid-hardware listen
udevadm info /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb1/1-2/1-2:1.0

No idea but the patches to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336523 sound prone (notably given the original bug)
