temporally disable screensaver

Tue May 12, 2015 9:49 am
Hi,

My energy setting turns of my screen after 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, when I watch a youtube video this feature is not automatically disabled.

Until now I had a script to temporally disable this screen shut down without changing system settings :
while /bin/true; do qdbus org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver /ScreenSaver SimulateUserActivity > /dev/null; sleep 1m; echo "."; done

But since I upgraded to kde5 this is not working anymore.
What else can I use ?

Thanks

I finally got it working.
It may be my testing condition I am not sure, but now it's ok.

But if there is a better way to do this, I am opened to suggestions. Because this is a hack, not a clean solution.
