I am running KDE 4.10.5 under SlackWare 14.1. I am using Slide animation for Virtual Desktop switching. Currently I use Ctrl+arrows to navigate between workspaces. When I make a transition from one workspace to another I automatically get a the pager shown for a few seconds, but all the desktops on the pager are gray, like that http://s22.postimg.org/3zfnpav7l/snapshot5.png . What I want is to have a preview (screenshot) of each desktop on the pager (like that http://s13.postimg.org/kqlbfwv3b/Ubuntu ... aces_4.png ) because I do not remember on which workspace I have opened a particular window and without the preview I have to wander around until I find it.

It's not gonna happen for KDE 4.x for sure, though (feature frozen since ages)
