Desktop Bottom Panel [SOLVED]

Fri Jul 03, 2015 3:50 am
My OS Version: Linux 3.13.0-37-generic (Linux Mint 17.1 KDE 64-bit)
KDE SC Version: 4.13.2

I inadvertently removed the bottom panel and am seeking guidance as how to re-instate this panel.
(Prior removal, I added a top panel to the desktop which won't relocate to the bottom.)
TIA.

Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and choose "Add Panel"->Default Panel from the context menu.
This would add a default panel, customizations you might have made to your panel are lost unfortunately.

You can move a panel by clicking in the toolbox icon ("cashew") on the right-hand end of the panel (if that icon is missing, you have to "Unlock Widgets" before). There is a button labelled "Screen Edge", click on that, hold the mouse button, and drag the panel to the bottom screen edge.

Thanks wolfi323!
The instruction on moving the panel to the bottom worked without a glitch. I didn't realise that using the 'Screen Edge' could be used to move the panel.
Thanks again.
Cheers...
