Hi,
I have a shell script that takes clipboard contents and processes it to feed onto another application. To fetch the clipboard (klipper's) contents I have been using qdbus, e.g.
All was fine until I upgraded to KF5 (fedora 21 to 22 upgrade). Now, here's what happens:
Moreover,
But the clipboard is running and well in my system tray!... So, does anyone have any idea of which service to look for to fetch the clipboard contents now? Has it been renamed? Cheers! By the way, this is probably the same thing happening in this post viewtopic.php?f=289&t=126690 |

Have you started the Klipper ?
With the KF5 the default (*) clipboard application is the Clipboard widget and it doesn't have the dbus. A blog - Next Generation Kilipper: http://blog.martin-graesslin.com/blog/2 ... n-klipper/ (*) Based on the Kubuntu KF5 desktop ( https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthrea ... -Clipboard ) and the Arch Linux KF5 desktop. |

Ahahah... Of all things that was the one that didn't occur to me (for, if the clipboard was there...)! Thanks a lot! Especially for the references about these changes. I've disabled for the moment the clipboard plasmoid in favour of klipper. Cheers! |
