Hi!
I have weird font rendering problem in all kde4 apps, it's simillar to glitch.
You can look at this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3QIuSp ... e=youtu.be example with konversation
it happens in some hours after entering to KDE4 session.
How I can fix it? May be something wrong with infinality?

.xsession-errors doesn't look suspicious.

My system:
Gentoo ~amd64
NVIDIA Driver: 352.21
KDE: 4.14.7
Qt: 4.8.6

Looks more like a problem with scrolling - insufficient update areas, in particular.
Check whether this also happens with suspended compositing (SHIFT+Alt+F12) - if yes, it's a problem in the text engine of konversation (kate?)
If not, this means that either insufficient damage events are generated, or kwin drops updates.

In the latter case, you may try:
Code: Select all
export KWIN_EXPLICIT_SYNC=0
export KWIN_USE_BUFFER_AGE=0
kwin_x11 --replace &

But this will certainly NOT work, if the problem also occurs without compositing itfp.
