Hello,

i have a problem with my T530 (Lenovo) and my docking station. At the docking stations are two monitors plucked.

When I pluck the notebook into the station kscreen decect the first monitor and change the screens. But it only "see" the first monitor. When I use xrandr then, i see both monitors. When I reconnect the second monitor kscreen use the correct monitor configuration.

Now I want to trigger this "reconnect" by hand. I saw in the source, that kscreen connect for several events on a daemon. But how can I trigger this events by hand?

For example
Code: Select all
void KScreenDaemon::requestConfig()
{
    connect(new KScreen::GetConfigOperation, &KScreen::GetConfigOperation::finished,
            this, &KScreenDaemon::configReady);
}

Is there a way to do that?
