Session restore doesn't work on Qt apps

I have a very annoying issue with KDE 5 that seriously screws up my workflow: Even though Restore session is enabled, it will only restore GTK apps such as Cairo Dock or Firefox (They are NOT auto-started) while Qt apps like Kwrite or Dolphin are not restored. I tried googling, I tried setting it to empty session than back to restore, I tried wiping ~/.config/session, all to no avail. NOTE: Files are generated in .config/session for these Qt apps, but they still don't get restored, and the entries just keep piling up. "Sic itur ad astra per aspera."
