I'm sure this must be available somewhere, but I've searched it to the point of exhaustion -- I swear!
I'm using the most current version of Mint KDE 17.2 Rafaela with the Plasma 5 desktop. Recently, I bought a new slim keyboard that doesn't have a suspend key shortcut built in. I've been searching desperately to find a way to create my own custom hotkey, but all the results I come up with are for previous versions of KDE. I'm not seeing any options on my system to create Global Shortcuts or any similar solutions found on the web. Can someone offer me an uncomplicated solution to create a hotkey to suspend my system? Thanks in advance. ![]() |

powerdevil has a configurable shortcut, run "kcmshell5 keys", select powerdevil or kded5 and set the "Sleep" shortcut to your favor.
