Mouse clicks wont work

Sat Dec 12, 2015 11:32 am
Im sorry if this is posted in the wrong category. Im having a problem with KDE on the latest FreeBSD, the mouse does not work the way it should. The mouse cursor appears and can be moved, however clicks wont be registered. I can click on the Start Menu but im unable to go further and Start apps. Clicking on konquerer on the taskbar works but i can only use opened apps with the keyboard. Click to focus doesnt work. I can only click on things in the taskbar and not opened apps.

can you please post the output of xdpyinfo somewhere? smells like you've no input shaping (while this should be caught and the feature mot used in newer kwin versions)
otherwise input shaping might be broken (virtual box?)

in either case, ensuring that windows have borders on all sides (kcmshell kdecoration) should avoid input shaping.
