let's start with the basics:
Do you want your gamepad to control the pointeror is your problem that the gamepad is accidentally recognized as mouse (commong issue w/ the x360 controller) and unwantedly does control the mouse? For the 1st case, install xf86-input-joystick and check "man joystick", you'll have to create an xorg.conf snippet that says
In either case see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ga ... ling_Mouse on some details and check "man joystick" This has nothing to do with KDE and can probably not be achieved by user-permissions or inside a session (so you can forget about the checkbox) unless one would bring a daemon that fakes mouse events from keyboard events (what is a bad idea) |
