Hello! I'm on KDE 5.5.3. After adding a desktop note widget, I cannot move it or delete it. I can write/delete text within the note but I cannot move the note around or delete the note. I can right-click but I only get an Undo/Redo Cut/Copy/Paste sort of menu. No settings or delete or anything like that.
The only process with "note" in the name were akonadi_notes_agent and akonadi_akonotes_resource. I killed both but the notes persist. I killed plasmashell but the notes came back then I restarted it... This doesn't seem to affect anything. It's just rather annoying. Help? Thanks! |

Really? This is considered an answer?
I have the same problem. It baffles me that one should have to wade through configuration files to remove a desktop note from the desktop. Apart from that the mentioned directory does not exist on my system. |

It was in 2016 I think. If something is stuck it is a good way of handling it. The default way is a long press with the left mouse and the trash symbol. If this doesn't work, you have to manually delete it. |
