HI,
I can't open any of my recent documents in kde menu. Nothing happens when I click on one. I can't tell what version of kde I am using because help-> about kde does not show it. I am running kubuntu 15.10 |

That's a known problem with the default Kickoff application launcher, which has been fixed in 5.5.
If you use 5.4 or earlier, switch to Kicker ("Application Menu", "A launcher based on cascading popup menus") for this to work. |

Ok it fixes the issue, but I loose bookmarks with this menu.
Is there a workaround to fix recent document while keeping the default kickoff ? |

No, you have to update to Plasma 5.5. But I cannot tell you how you would do that in Kubuntu. You can of course add as menu application launchers to your panel or desktop as you like to, so you could have both Kickoff and Kicker. |

The KInfoCenter will tell lot of your system - ![]() If you want to help: Few weeks ago the Kubuntu was searching testers - 'Call for Testers for Plasma 5.5.3 on Kubuntu Wily (15.10)': http://wire.kubuntu.org/?p=940 |
