Hi,

since my last KDE update i have an issue with KDE Update notifier.
In fact i have such notification:


After checking the file main.qml i discovered that error is relative to line 23, so to:

import org.kde.discovernotifier 1.0

Now i'm stuck there... so i guess that import does not find org.kde.discovernotifier module, but i do not understand now.... what does it mean in fact ?
Should i reinstall the module ?

to be clear i have KDE 5.5.3 installed so how can i know if this particular module is available for usage ? or should install previous version of this module ?

guessing it is related to the discover and discover-plasmoid packages (these are the names in openSUSE) are they installed?

i can only see a 'kcm_notificationhelper ' among modules that is related to notifications but nothing about discover or discover-plasmoid modules

did you look for and install the packages I suggested? in Kubuntu it might be muon-discover

Muom-discover is already installed as package

check that the following are all installed (ignore everything starting with the "_")
