I have Kubuntu 15.04.
After uninstall VirtualBox 5.0.13. My desktop disappeared.
The commands I used were:
sudo apt-get remove virtualbox
sudo apt-get purge virtualbox
sudo dpkg -l | grep virtualbox
sudo apt-get purge virtualbox-5.0

Although The VirtualBox was uninstalled; the desktop and the taskbar of Plasma too.

Other changes I did was; change the way of see the desktop to folder.
But I'm not sure if that change has something to do with it.

First I tried stop and restart the service with this commands:
sudo systemctl stop sddm.service
sudo sddm start
And the service was stopped, but don't fix my problem.

Then I tried reinstall the desktop with this commands:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo service kdm restart
But not resulted.

Do you know, how I can do with this?

Yeah, is there only one. And I can login into KDE and run apps.

You should have a log of everything that got removed, probably in /var/log/apt/history.log

For now make sure that all your plasma components are installed:

Did the above command install anything extra? If so, please restart sddm or kdm or whichever login manager you use and have a look whether your desktop is back.

My login manager is sddm.
I tried that, but didn't happen anything.

Good news!!!
As you said, using the commands:
sudo rm -fr ~/.cache/

And I deleted the cache, and everything returned to normality.
I had to add the taskbar and a couple of Gatgets more.
