I just did an update to the latest version of Plasma 5 and now the logout menu looks worse than something the cat dragged in!

I'm using dark theme and before the update everything looked fine and now it looks like I have walked into a defiled toy store, how can I change it back?

after the upgrade did you clear you caches?

Well, before the update, the menu looked like so:

which goes nicely with the new simplistic design of the KDE Breeze Dark theme.

But now it looks like so:


and pardon my language but it looks like utter ****.

I tried to follow the advice there but it doesn't help. Something must have been changed with the Plasma desktop since then.
