Hi,

I have a fresh openSuse Leap installation with Plasma5.

Problem: When I log in, Desktop effects are disabled.

Effect: I like to have a 50% Translucent konsole. If I start "konsole" it is not translucent. I have to press Alt + Shift + F12 to make it translucent. But when I relog, this effect is switched off again.

What I have done so far:
- checked System Settings -> Desktop Behaviour -> Desktop Effects: "Translucency" is checked
- unchecked and rechecked it

So far I still have to press Alt + Shift + F12 at every log in.

systemsettings -> display and monitor -> compositor -> enable compositor on startup ?
