I am using KDE Frameworks 5.23.0.

When I switch between different monitors (lets say office, the home) the panel information and their widgets get lost. I would like to know what is going on before reporting any bug but for this I need to see where Workspace saves the information of each active panel.

Any idea is much appreciated

KF 5 is following XDG Base Directory Specification: https://specifications.freedesktop.org/ ... atest.html

configuration files:
$XDG_CONFIG_HOME defines the base directory relative to which user specific configuration files should be stored. If $XDG_CONFIG_HOME is either not set or empty, a default equal to $HOME/.config should be used.

The Plasma is saving configuration to the $HOME/.config/plasma*

Code: Select all
$ ls -1 $HOME/.config | grep plasma
plasma_calendar_holiday_regions
plasma-localerc
plasma-locale-settings.sh
plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc
plasmarc
plasmashellrc
plasmawindowed-appletsrc
plasmawindowedrc
plasma-workspace
plasma_workspace.notifyrc

Probably you wiil find the information from the plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc
